Which ages can participate?

Generation Kind sessions are recommended for Pre-K to 3rd grade kids. All projects are age-appropriate with activities adaptable across skill levels, since kids work and learn together in a mixed-age classroom.

How long is each session?

If you enroll in the 4-week program, each session is 1.5 hours long and the program runs a total of four weeks. If you enroll in a single session, the timing will vary.

How much does each program cost?

It costs $285 for one enrollment, which includes a donation to each week's partner organization.

It's my first time. What should I expect?

When you join Generation Kind for the first time, you'll receive a t-shirt, a Kindness Ring, and your first charm.

Should my child wear their t-shirt to each session?

We'd love for them to wear it. It helps build pride in the program and makes it easy to spot our group during projects.

What is a Kindness Ring?

At the end of each session, every child leaves with a charm to add to their Kindness Ring, a growing, visible reminder of every act of kindness they've completed. They can hang it on their backpack or keep it somewhere of their choosing.

What's included in the program?

Snacks are included and each child receives a charm at the end of each session. Supplies and materials are included unless noted when you enroll.

Do parents and guardians stay?

We leave this up to you. We have 2 to 4 volunteers at each session, so feel free to drop off your child or stick around and join the volunteer project together.

What's the difference between the 4-week program and the single sessions?

The 4-week program is $285 for four experiences on a day of the week of your choosing. Single sessions vary in price and length and are scheduled throughout the month.
